Cultivate is a startup with a mission to inform and represent farmers and regional Australians. We aim to make best practice and latest scientific information on agricultural science accessible through video and vodcast streaming services. Our content will also showcase the unique experience and lifestyle of living in regional and remote Australia.
Late 2023
Our founders met while working together on a federal government training package that supports Australian farmers and land managers to reduce emissions and store carbon. We discovered a complement of skills and shared passions for the role that farming and regional Australia can play in protecting and restoring Australia’s natural capital.
March 2024
Over several coffees and many Teams meetings, Matt, Amy and Sam clearly defined the goals and roles for Cultivate Streaming. Amy and Matt enrolled in Startup Central Victoria accelerator program.
April – October 2024
We surveyed farmers and regional Australians to uncover what they wanted in a streaming service, how often they would watch it, and how much they were prepared to pay for it.
November 2024
Cultivate Streaming was officially pitched with our launch video in Bendigo Victoria, to over 80 farmers and regional Australians.
Early 2025
The formalities of starting up a company were worked and agreed on by our founders, and we started reaching out to potential investors and supporters.
Realising that trying to fulfil our wishlist for content was akin to 'boiling the ocean', we honed in on the founding farming principle of good soil health, with the aim of producing a masterclass series as launch content.
June 2025
Short version of content are launched on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
Our vision is clear, and we are working hard to bring it to screens and podcast services.
The support for this streaming service is demonstrated to us daily. You can help Cultivate Streaming become a reality through following us on socials, pledging your subscription or putting us in touch with potential investors.
